While at an audition two thoughts occupy your mind. The first thought being your desire and necessity to secure the spot. The second and more important thought is the question of whether you're properly prepared. Advancing past the series of elimination rounds at an audition and getting a final callback is not an easy task. Artists put themselves and their craft on the line at each audition and must smile even when they're rejected. For many, dance is not a choice but an essential part of our being and we will do whatever necessary to be successful at it. Alfred is pleased to offer his expertise and show the steps necessary to successfully perform at an audition helping you reach your maximum potential.

What are auditions?
Auditions are the process in which choreographers select and hire dancers. Auditions provide the platform for dancers to display their talents and the opportunity to grow as artists. At auditions you are given the chance to grow as a dancer, attempting new and different dance styles. More importantly, auditions provide the occasion to perform next to seasoned professionals familiar with the industry. You have the opportunity to analyze their strengths and weaknesses and apply them to your development. Attending auditions with a strategy will help you have better experiences and learn something new at each time.
