BIO
Alfred Lowe grew up in New York City and was exposed to a variety of sports and dance at an early age. For his six birthday, Alfred received a punching bag and his first set of weights. While other children were given toys, Alfred asked for gym equipment, books, and instructional sports videos – anything that would encourage and develop his athletic abilities. The result was a winner’s mindset at an early age. Alfred would often dominate the community olympic and summer camp games. His love for sports continued and included football, track and field, boxing and fencing. With his athletic accomplishments Alfred began pairing up with other athletes in High School to begin creating training programs for their benefit. Alfred enhanced his natural talents by learning from the best of the best. His coaches and mentors include professional athletes, super bowl champions, leading strength coaches, nutritionists, trainers, physical therapists, and championship boxers. From these incredible individuals, Alfred received not only a vast of array of knowledge, but more importantly, a passion to excel and the attitude to always continue to learn and corn. Alfred took these lessons and brought them to the realm of physical conditioning, performance enhancement and total body transformation. First working to develop his own training programs as a NCAA Division I athlete and later becoming the strength and conditioning coach several boxing clubs at the age of 22 and evolving into one of the world’s most elite personal trainers today. Alfred has attained numerous certifications during his career and continues to dedicate himself to daily study and research. He has been awarded many fitness honors including presenting at Health Expos across the world. Alfred’s expertise has been featured on NBC, Hong Kong Public Television as well as on the pages of the Houston Chronicle, Hong Kong Standard Magazine and dozens of other magazines, radio shows and interviews. Today Alfred is an inspiring leader and in-demand speaker, trainer and coach. As President of the highly innovative and inspiring ALG Boutique Fitness Programs in NYC, LA and Houston, Alfred deliver unprecedented results to everyone from the pro athlete to the weekend warrior. Alfred has 25 years of experience in the fitness industry and has established himself as one of the premiere fitness authorities across the world. For the past 15 years, as the owner and director of ALG Fitness, Alfred is dedicated to helping clients achieve their “Personal Best”. He trains men and women, ages 8 to 85 and client base ranges from professional athletes in training, to brides on a mission — from corporate executives and professional dancers, to new and expectant mothers. Though his clients run the fitness gamut, they all have one thing in common: Everyone wants to feel and look their best, inside and out. Alfred is dedicated to making each workout personalized, fun and effective. His workouts incorporate a variety of techniques and approaches to fitness, including aerobic circuit training, boot camp, pilates mat, plyometrics, traditional strength training and boxing. Prior to founding ALG Boutique Fitness, Alfred was a NCAA Division I, Boxer, professional dancer, personal trainer and group fitness instructor. He is best known for his Boot Camp and Boxing classes which are high-energy and high-impact. He currently travels weekly between Houston, NYC and LA training individual clients and presenting master classes and his workshop series for fitness professionals.

Working with a personal trainer is the safest and most effective way to achieve your health and fitness goals. Whether your goal is body fat reduction, lean muscle or strength and flexibility increase, a personal trainer is key. Alfred will provide you with the guidance and knowledge to achieve the desired results. By carefully analyzing your personal goals, exercise history and fitness assessments, Alfred will design an exercise program specifically tailored to your individual needs while teaching proper form. Maintaining proper form during a particular exercise prevents injury.

NON-WEIGHTLIFTING APPROACH TO FITNESS TRAINING includes a team of professionals that are dedicated to improv your quality of life, paving the way to enhance the science and technique of personal training. This is how it works: Alfred will meet with you one on one and discuss your medical and physical history and all recommendations made by your physician. This is followed by introducing you to a series of exercises, immediately followed by an evaluation your performance in each format. Depending on your body’s reaction to the different formats a continuous program is initiated which is designed specifically for your needs. During sessions there is zero down time or recovery between stations and exercises. The non -weight training program enables sessions to be engaged in consecutive days with the program helping most musculoskeltal problems such as low back, knee, neck, shoulder pain, tendinitis, sprains, torn ligament and cartilage damage.
